What’s the most important thing you’ve learned about yourself in the past thirty years?

·         I can do and say whatever I want as long as it’s done tactfully.

·         "If it's going to be, it's up to me"!

·         Be more patient with myself and try to reach out and help as many people that I can.

·         That my positive attitude has been a great asset and I’m a great Mom!

·         To spend less time wanting and more time loving what you have.

·         Life is ever changing and always a learning experience.

·         That I have more self worth than I thought I did.  Or I do now more so than when I was in school.

·         When someone I loved or cared about was going through a tough time in their lives, I was one of those people that didn’t always pick up the phone because…. like so many other people, I just didn’t know what to say. In losing my daughter’s to MD, and my brother to cancer, I have learned that the most important thing is to always be there for the people that you love, and care about. No matter how hard it is, that person needs to know that you love them and that you are there for them. I know first hand how important that it is to have that support system around you when you need them the most. I will never be that person who doesn’t pick up that phone again…even if for no other reason than just to tell them that “I care.”

·         helping other people.

·         I must form my own beliefs and values based on my own observations and life experience, not on what any so-called authority tells me.

·         That I am who I am and I like myself as a person.

·         Life will throw you many curves - I have learned that your character is formed by the way you handle each one.  Live every moment to the fullest.
·         I measure my accomplishments by those I touch in a positive way.

·         Be true to yourself and honest with others.

·         WHO I REALLY AM is yet to be realized... in a spiritual/soulful sense.
